IP addresses

Student educational records
Any data from children under 13

Information We DO Collect

For Free Users

Nothing. Zero data collection. All settings are stored locally on your device using Chrome's built-in storage.

For Pro/Pro Unlimited Users

If you purchase a license, we collect only:

License key (to validate your subscription)
Email address (for license delivery and support)
Payment information (processed securely by our payment provider)

Data Storage

All your accessibility settings and preferences are stored locally on your device using Chrome's storage API. This means:

Settings sync across your devices via your Chrome account
We never see or have access to these settings
You can delete all data by removing the extension

Third-Party Services

Text-to-Speech

When you use the text-to-speech feature, audio is generated using your browser's built-in speech synthesis. No text is sent to external servers.

Payment Processing

License purchases are processed by our payment provider. We never store your complete payment information.

Children's Privacy (COPPA Compliance)

Excellent View AI is safe for users of all ages, including children under 13:

We do not collect any personal information from children
We do not require account creation
We do not use tracking or analytics
The extension works entirely offline after installation

Educational Use (FERPA Compliance)

For schools and districts using Pro Unlimited:

We do not collect student education records
We do not require student account creation
Settings are stored locally on each device
No student data is transmitted to our servers
We provide compliance documentation upon request

Your Rights
